Something doubleoh wrote in the stigmata virgin thread made me put on this: [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mGgMZpGYiy8&ob=av3n[/yt]
Laurie Anderson l O Superman [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=0hhm0NHhCBg[/yt]
[yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0VsvuvKT20[/yt] Another "Had for ages, only just properly listened". Amazing.
Love that album (Too-Rye-Ay) -in fact: I had to put it on after reading your post [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbLiMRBUs_4[/yt] [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7r4fcnpbYdo[/yt] [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xRjR6fMbCpI[/yt] [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DXS4_y6fU0[/yt] [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVB9PpwuTJM[/yt] Turn over. [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=On5Jfj4OJgc[/yt] This concert was actually my first exposure to DMR ...and it continues here. I'll Show You not on YT. One of my new records. Here's the newfangled 'compact disc' of the first track: [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7wzNvY2DBY[/yt]
Nice Plenty of Glenn Miller on YT ETA: After a few tunes of that I inevitably got into the mood for an ol' Tom and Jerry favourite of mine: Flirty Birdy. I think Scott Bradley made some of his most fantastic music for that particular cartoon. The scene where Tom is in drag has the most brilliantly written 'sexy' music I've ever had the pleasure to hear in an animated story (~2:30 into this): [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSctQS6Huls[/yt] Which reminds me: can anyone tell me where the eggs came from?
I *heart* these threads! -There's always a lot of inspiration to be found in 'em! [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuUZrFwxDII[/yt]
