With the release of XBox One and PS4... will the old consoles drop in price? I've been waiting to buy a PS3 and I'm hoping they'll drop once the new one is out...
I don't know. The PS3 just dropped a new model with 12GB of flash memory for $199. It's hard to conceive a price cut so soon after... But on the other hand, it's possible. I think the 360 will go $99 with a two year subscription to XBL first.
I doubt it. Both consoles are still selling fairly well given their age. You might get a $50 price drop sometime next year, but that's about it.
I bought a used PS3 4 years ago and it is still running great. I got it for $150. I plan on getting used PS4s and XBOX ones also.
