I'm kind of bored with NCIS, but I'll tune in for the pilot. Hopefully this turns out better than NCIS: LA did.

I choose to think of this AS Enterprise, Season 5. Captain Archer has been stranded in the past due to Temporal Cold War shenanigans and has taken on another identity to try to blend in and not change history.
The NCIS LA spinoff is such a waste of... like everything. And Bakula never particularly excelled in his roles, especially not in Enterprise.
But what if one of those rapist terrorist murdering scumbags he locks up turns out to be the great-great-great-great-great grandfather of Picard, or something? He could destroy the timeline!
Admitting his team will make mistakes, but learn from them, probably isn't a good thing for an NCIS officer to tell his bosses.
