I'm trying to come up with a drinking game to help encourage me to finish watching Voyager. Just kidding. Actually, I just cringe whenever I hear Janeway say "suffice it to say," because she says it A LOT. And then I was watching one of the Future's End episodes and both her and Neelix use that phrase within the same episode! Another word/phrase is "Tachyon ____." If the writers need a techno problem or solution, a Tachyon something is usually at the top of their bag-o-babble. Any other words or phrases that are used a lot in Voyager that you've noticed?
Have a drink when two or more of these words are combined and you will be wasted by the end of act 2.
One time, I was alone and bored and watching TNG and decided to do a drinking game someone had posted online. Let's just say...I got pretty hammered. They repeat certain phrases and words SO MUCH. I ended up eventually getting too drunk to accurately determine what they were actually saying after a while... Star Trek drinking games are guaranteed to produce intoxication if you don't cheat.
"Modify" and "Main Deflector".After returning to Earth someone on VOY should've published a technical guide called "1000 and 1 different uses for the Main Deflector".
Any episode season 4 or after... irrelevant, futile, perfection, nanoprobe, etc. Guaranteed to be hammered. Passed out on a Seven centered episode.
You could also drink whenever Seven OR Janeway make you swoon. Be wasted by the end of the opening credits.
"Warp drive is OFF-line." With that exact emphasis by Paris. Also, Kim's "Too late, they're gone" whenever he didn't act on his own initiative to stop someone beaming off the ship or stealing a shuttle.
i got a few. "cannot establish a stable warp field" "its a quantum _______" "reroute power from _______ to ______" "inefficient" "The (Insert system here) has been enhanced with borg technology" "Forty-Seven" <--------- Thats like the ST universe's number 23.
"when we get back home" "we carved X amount of years off our journey" "I cannot get a lock" "This is no time for _______, I've made my decision" "We've lost contact with Commander Chakotay's shuttle."
