I know of no big announcements. There's activity in the VFX pipeline. New spaceships and all that jazz.
God, why do people always assume something is "dead"? It was only 6 weeks ago that I posted that there was activity in the VFX pipeline.
I'm so sorry, I just wanted to share this and I know I bumped the thread and everyone will be expecting something more or maybe Dennis. Again sorry but this is too cool not to share b
I only saw it myself yesterday, but I really like it. Apparently it was an early draft and an unused direction. As far as news, I'm afraid I am clueless.
There's also at least one typo that appears twice on that poster. But it's a pretty effin' great poster, I must say! Maybe Maurice will pop in and give us some info (if there is any to be had) at some point. Till then, I eagerly anticipate the film's release.
Some Jason Lee/Vektor concept art was posted to the Facebook page the other day. Note that this is just ONE concept painting of several. Click image to embiggen.
Great looking image. And as someone who lives ten minutes away from Six Flags Over Georgia... I don't understand the comparison.
On a related note, Sony Pictures managed to take down an INDEPENDENT production by claiming coypright infringement. http://www.cartoonbrew.com/ideas-co...ce-indie-short-sintel-from-youtube-98182.html You can take that to court, but that process is extremely annoying.
That film is available on Vimeo. YouTube are gradually making themselves obsolete. Other video channels will take a little bit of the market every time Google makes a stupid decision. The next step in the chain will be Google 'filtering' returns which fly in the face of their edicts, like this Vimeo result. If it doesn't happen then I'm wrong but watch this space.
