Bomer, Routh, Chuck being the lowest common denominator, why not just Zachary Levy? That would be outside of the box. Jon Hamm, woo hoo! I wonder if Rosenbaum would return if WB asked for a SV movie.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was Hamm. He'd be good in the role. I'd rather they get Routh back though.
Thank you! Not enough people realize that an actor's voice is as important as any other item in his toolbox. Routh's Superman sounded too "Clark" to me.
^ I thought (and still think) that Routh sounds exactly like Tom Cruise. Looks a bit like him too, if about a foot taller.
Zachary Levi Not in Contention for Man of Steel. http://movies.ign.com/articles/111/1110168p1.html I am glad. [edit] Nolan could cast Tom Hardy 5'10"(11") (Inception, Marie Antoinette, ST NEM )

Off topic but I see clips from that other comic-based movie Routh is starring in have turned up online. Hope it gives the guy a break - I think he deserves it. http://www.moviehole.net/201025843-footage-from-dylan-dog-online
Too brief to get any real sense of him as Superman (since there are no closeups or dialogue of Superman in either commercial), but he looks good as Clark.
^ though he seems to overact horribly, though that was likely the direction. When did Superman start shilling toyotas??
Not more perfect than Quinto. Not possible. Routh is too stiff. Contrary to popular opinion, the last thing you want w/Spock is a stiff actor.
