Earlier today in a comment thread on a blog, RDJ was complaining about working in the heat in the Southeast. Would that have been for IM3 or some other movie?

 

I realized that when i posted, but i had to run out.

 

That would be Iron Man 3, Don Cheadle also talked about the heat during filming at the Comic-Con Saturday.

 

Ah. I looked it up and they've been filming in Wilmington and Cary NC. No wonder he was complaining! I couldn't imagine that costume when the temperatures were running 100+ during the heat wave.

 

I'm pretty sure the photo is from the Prince of Persia film.

Since the closing of Avengers fandom has been wanting a Banner cameo at the least but ideally Hulk cameo in IM3. Feige has picked up on this and is shooting it down.

Based on the number of people wearing suits, I am guessing Stark and a bunch of office workers have been thrown/blown off a building.

Where were the stunt doubles during all this?

 

I'm sure it was a stunt he felt he could execute with no problem. Probably even rehearsed it successfully a few times before the accident happened.
The piece seems to indicate it's minor enough.

 

It was serious enough to delay filming for a while.

I really wish that RDJ had used a stuntman. He is the lead actor and the last thing this movie needs is for him to break a leg and delay this entire movie for several months. That's what the stuntmen are there for, doing things that might be dangerous.

Now that this has happened, hopefully they'll be much more reluctant to let him to risk himself like that.

I wonder if they'll somehow combine the ten rings with the Infinity gems. It may seem a bit weird to the dreaded general public to have two sets of 10 rings/gems that perform magic.

 

He probably thought it would be more exciting if the audience saw him doing the stunt.

Lots of actors want to do their own stunts(tom cruise)
