Example: the classic look on Riker's face as he's getting grabbed by Merritt Butrick in "Symbiosis." I was eight years old when this episode first aired and always got a good laugh out of it whenever they reran it, especially when they showed that same clip in "Shades of Gray." What are your favorite/memorable scenes from other (forgettable) episodes?
I don't know if The Last Outpost is forgettable, but Data & Geordi with the Chinese finger trap was most memorable.
Just re-watched "The Icarus Factor" and the scene where Data tries to talk to Worf in 10-Forward is great. Data: (paraphrased) We like you...we are your friends... Worf: BEGONE!
From In Theory, which, to me, is otherwise a predictable bore-fest. http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20111116035548/memoryalpha/en/images/1/1e/Van_Mayter_dead.jpg
Picard getting chewed out by the Admiral in "Descent". Then the follow-up line "The moral thing to do, was not the right thing to do." Only good things to come out of that one. Never liked "Descent".
A majority of what happened in "The Last Outpost"...the chinese finger trap, Ferengi jumping around like morons, laser whips, etc.
Picard & Q in their wonderful Shakespeare banter from Hide & Q. One of TNG's best scenes... The episode? Meh...
I like Schisms, but it's rarely ever a topic of discussion. However, Data's poem about Spot is infamous
