Have not seen that one yet.
One good thing about moving out soon is I will have access to the TV when I want it.

That's definitely a good thing of having your own place.

Yeah it was good, and shocking, although I guessed Rea likely wasn't a nice man. Is he Glickman do you think?

What I find v interesting about it is that I can't really see where it's going, that's refreshing, and there's another 4 episodes I think!

I just want to say that The Shadow Line is one of my favourite shows on right now. Great cast throughout, especially Rafe Spall and Stephen Rea, and the always excellent Eccles. Great plot that keeps you on your toes constantly, which I like very much. Can't wait for tomorrow's episode. :)

I also caught The Field of Blood which was a surprising gem with another great cast (hello to David Morrissey) and interesting plot. Also saw (and liked) Exile earlier too - John Simm, Jim Broadbent and Olivia Colman all on fine form.

Did anyone see United, the dramatisation of the 1958 Munich air crash? I liked that programme too, although I thought Dougray Scott's portrayal of Matt Busby seemed a little... strange.

Overall, between these shows and an enjoyable series of Doctor Who, this is proving to be quite a fascinating season of programmes. Bring on Torchwood! :D

There's been a lot of chances to say hello to Auntie David lately. He's in Blitz, too.

^Cool! Thanks for that. Very interesting to see him just sit and chat. Part 5 (as it's posted 2 of 5, 3 of 5, etc) seems to be missing, darn it.

Both Alan and Celia have families, and with family comes baggage.

Savage, new series, written by Stephen Butchard, made by BBC Drama Production

sorry about that :alienblush: Only got to part 3 before had to quit...

See trailers currently running for new BBC Jason Isaacs (cop/crime?) drama. Anyone know more? One of those rare contemporary Brit actors I think shines in pretty much everything he does. Also noticed he's due up soon in new US SF/'Sliding Doors' type cop show.

(ironic writing about cop theme as multitude of Met police arrest a youth below window while 20-strong group of teens barrack them :) )

It's called Case Histories and is an adaptation of Kate Atkinson's Jackson Brodie series of detective novels. It starts on Sunday.

Oh, and hello to Jason Isaacs too. :)

I'm thinking of watching Case Histories just so I can say 'Hello to Jason Isaacs' as well.

I can happily confirm I have not seen Basic Instinct 2. :p

I've still only watched the first episode. It was good, but I've not got round to the other 3.

Catching up on iplayer so only seen first two. Love the acting and pacing; sort of feels like Ken Loach-meets-David Lynch (but I'm sure no-one will agree :)). Beginning to wonder though if it's all a dream/nightmare...

The dialogue is extremely stylised and why has nobody pointed out that the boss is breaking the law by smoking in his office? It must be a dream. Chris Eccleston is pretty amazing in it though.
