I've made mine one of those Fusion Vulcans on an exploration of discovery.. so we don't need the insanity of Pon Farr.
Yeah, a super strong Vulcan drunk on sex doesn't sound that appealing anymore... though with the safety protocols on... After all this talk about it, it's in.
I want to do a top engineer poll but a cross century poll would be an apples verse oranges situation. Can anyone think of a question that could include Trip, Scotty, and Geordi? (Bonus points if you can include Cochrane or Lily from First Contact in the question.)
You're leaving out Torres? Q: Which engineer would be most likely to consider alcohol as an alternative fuel source? Q: Which engineer would you most trust to repair your car? And you're leaving out O'Brien?
^I plan for the list to be much longer than just the addition of Torres and O'brien. I plan to include Leah Brahms, Joe Carey, and other second string engineers as well. The first Q of yours, no, but you're on to something with the second. I'm just going to leave that question open.
Cochrane, Trip, Kelby, Scotty, NuScotty, MacDougal, Argyle, Logan, Lynch(boy did season 1 TNG go through a lot of engineers), LaForge, Barclay, O'brien, Nog, Torres, Carey, Vorik... all I can think of. Might've missed a couple.
^If I asked "Who's the top engineer?", I think Scotty would be the best on the Enterprise but Geordi would be the best on the Enterprise D.
I'd like to thank everyone who helped again for the suggestions. Question Closed: I took Logan (TNG: "The Arsenal of Freedom") out because he was more of an antagonist, I took Leah Brahms out because she was more of a scientist then an engineer, and contemplating adding Olson (NuTrek), he was just a redshirt. Besides mentioned, am I missing anyone? Thread: http://www.trekbbs.com/showthread.php?t=231184
Taking entries for "Which planet(s) would you like to visit most?". I can't decide between single vote or three votes, but I want a definite pattern instead of a multiple choice poll. I thought I saw a poll like this when I first joined but didn't see it in my search in GTD. I don't think it would be anywhere else so I'm taking it.
Well, judging from past threads in General Discussion, you might think about avoiding "pleasure" planets, since the same names always show up. Risa usually wins on those. They'll probably draw a high number of votes to the exclusion of more geologically or historically interesting places.
