^Heh, today I bought a large fancy box of filled chocolates and a small but quirky bouquet of flowers for my mum's birthday tomorrow (well the party is tomorrow, the birthday is Monday).

I guess I am, but both chocolate and flowers need to be relatively fresh when you gift them so I really couldn't have bought any of it very much earlier.

Normally, though, I'm the kind of guy that buys gifts like these on my way to the party

    Xbox 360 (Jasper) - 10€

The hdd, motherboard and the PCB from its dvd drive has been transplanted into my xbox. I originally just needed the harddrive because the little devil killed mine. it still worked, but sounded like a cat being raped.

Please note the assassinated dvd drive. believe it or not, the machine itself works fine. it could even play dvd/games if you put the disc in manually.

    [Mr. Laser Beam]^Right!

Now if only thoughtful gifts were as easy as the 'I picked this up on my way here'-gifts! -bought my last x-mas gift on Dec. 23'rd -simply because the person if was for had not given me any good ideas and I didn't have any of my own; ended up giving her something from the 'default'-setting (T-shirt with the Rolling Stones logo in sequins (from H&M) :wtf: )
