As an alternate (and I just thought of this noe) how about Tricia Helfer as HH. She doesn't quite have the almond eyes, but she is tall, statuesque and can kick ass. J
Helfer's far too scrawny. Honor Harrington can't run around looking like she's going to keel over from malnutrition.
But Honor also has that metabolism that burns calories so quickly. She eats a lot and always stays slim.
It was my take that it was used so the same characters can run ships from the early dreadnought era past the age of the aircraft carrier.
Yeah, basically. It gives you characters that can last over a long span of time and not start creaking and geezing. And I love your sig Forbin. Just don't build any super computers.
I was reading an eBook at the time that I had received from somewhere, but from the first time I read "On Basilisk Station" I could only see Terry Farrell as Honor Harrington. Then I saw this picture on one of the later books, and I was convinced.
I wonder what a CGI Treecat would look like? It would have to be in just about every scene with Honor, and interact with just about everyone. -Chris
I still want her to have some muscle tone! I know her job doesn't require much in the way of fist-fights, but she should at least look like she could throw a punch without shattering her arm.
I'm not sure, but the last thing I saw her in was one of those Sci fi channel crap Saturday movies. She looked pretty sober then. (Not that her sobriety helped the movie...)
