Nothing to say about this one, really. I keep hoping we'll get to see Shelly Berman's Judge Sanders once more before the series end.

    Best opening ever. :)

And for people who haven't visited Boston, the asshole in line is exactly like how 90% of the people there act. :p

I thought this was a pretty good episode, more serious in tone than some of the more recent ones. And I really liked the music that they chose for the background. I think Jerry's trial could have been a bit more fleshed out, though. It felt a bit rushed.

I'd give this one a "good."

Excellent and who said they didn't want Jerry because he was great in this episode from the funny over the top beginning to Jerrys closing ;). I loved the line about the punch had been coming for over 40 years, almost brought a tear to my eye.

Alan's case was fantastic too but I agree with Alan, the girl should choose no matter what, her body & her child BUT if to do it, base on gender then thats is plain wrong and Shirley was 100% right, that kid is weird.

I also loved the Emmy talk ;) though dissapointed about no Obama winning talk hope thats next week.

one note for the first time I didn't like David E Kelly adding the bit about abort rate/Crime.

    EXCELLENT :techman:

Judge Peyton is my favorite. I've always preferred the inquisitorial system over the adversarial.

Of course nobody beats Q in Farpoint. Irrelevant, irrelevant, irrelevant... Guilty!

It's nice to see snippets educating the audience in the legal profession which don't bore us to tears. This one was so curt, I can't even remember what they were saying. Hopefully we'll get to see more actual lawyering when Laroquette finally steps up to the plate next week. Oh and he's going to have to lose the straight man persona, it's not working.

Mr. Quirky aka Jerry should have copped a plea. He threw the muffin, case closed. He should not have underestimated the British fondness for backstabbery. Oooh, I don't much care for this Katie character.

What actor played the bully? That man should be in pictures! A real talent. ;)

As far as the two Shu's, like mother like daughter.

P.S. Did anyone notice Kivas Fajo in next week's preview? Woot!

The line that got to me was that the bullying was worse "because this time it was in front of someone who I -- " and then he caught himself and didn't finish the sentence.

    Very deeply felt, and well-delivered.

Huh? :wtf: Katie told the truth, but only when pressed. She tried to dance around answering the questions until she was pressed by the prosecution. At first I was unsure about her, but I think she's cute, and the accent merely seals the deal for me.

Unrelated, but there was a good line in last weeks My Name Is Earl (At least I think that's what it was), where Randy spews out some rather accurate legal information and explains how he knew by saying "I watched three episodes of Boston Legal before I realized it wasn't a new Star Trek".

I thought the beginning was great fun, the rest of the episode was a bore.

And I read spoilers for the finale, it seems the ending might be different than we thought.

I do believe that was Tracy Morgan's character on "30 Rock" who said that. :)

    :sigh:

    1. Put on your thinking cap.

    2. Think outside the box.

    3. Expand your horizons.

    4. Avoid watching My Name Is Earl, The Office, and other crap shows, if possible.

I didn't like this episode very much. I don't even want to open the can of worms about the abortion storyline, but I love the muffin toss.
