THEY LANDED THE WHOLE STARSHIP! Much better than Generations when they landed only half of it. Except of course they didn't really landed, more like crashed. Yeah. I don't like Star Trek ships landing. And lifting off. And fucking being built on Earth surface. But that's me. Cool video. Fishy is cute.

You're right, they also landed on the Demon planet and again in (?) Nightingale so B'Elanna could do repairs while Kim and Seven ran off to play Captain and first mate for an alien crew.

I'm kinda with Shat. I never saw a need to land a ship. They have teleporters and shuttles for that stuff. It looks neat but it's not applicable.
It does make sense to make it possible for the ship to land for emergencies but it doesn't make sense to do it in non-emergency situations. And if they were going to have the ship land they should have had some kind of seldom-seen landing gear make an appearance to make up for the fact that the ship ought to be tipping over when on the ground.
