I noticed that, too. Sure was a slow-moving heat/fire blast, too, considering how close they were to the detonation. Oh well...

Probably a good idea. There's just no way Wolverine's costume could translate to real life and look good.

It doesn't look good. His brown costume would look more realistic.

I think at this point, it is too late for Wolverine to suddenly put on his yellow costume. Singer's cheesy black leather uniforms are what people think of when they think of the X-men in the movies nowadays. Maybe they can do the colorful costumes after the reboot? :p

An eternal soldier going into battle wearing bright yellow is the very definition of cheese. it was the major fail of the movie when the mutant green Viper came out and broke the X Universe conventions.

I agree that the brown costume was far superior.

Well, the original article I posted to is gone, and another article removed the image by request.

However, I still was able to find it here. Hurry and click before it gets removed from here too!

Seems kind of pointless to have it removed at this point as it's already gone viral. I saved it my computer just because FOX doesn't seem to want me to have it.

There were rumors when Aronofsky was slated to direct that Logan was going to wear his original outfit (not sure if it was the brown or yellow one) during the film. Apparently it was going to be "ceremonial armor" given to him by Yukio or someone along those lines.

^That would've worked within the context of the story and been a nice wink to fans. I'm kinda sorry they didn't find a way to work it in somehow.

The Wolverine did cross the $130m domestic mark this weekend and has $366m Worldwide.
Wonder if it can make it to $375m WW before it's run is over.

At first I didn't think that costume would have worked on screen, but in that context I could maybe see them being able to to pull it off.

I'm not sure why they WOULDN'T include the extended version on both the 3D and 2D Blu Ray discs of the 3D release. Not doing that would only invite a ton of complaints from costumers who don't don't like or don't have 3D TVs.

But you can only get the extended cut if you buy the 3D version.

I was only talking about the 3D and 2D discs on the 3D Blu Ray package.

    "4-disc set"
    3D theatrical
    2D extended
    2D theatrical
    Digital copy

Fans obviously won't like paying more the extended version, but it was obvious that FOX would only released the extended version on the pricier package! I guess we should be grateful the extended version is being released at all?
