Yep, it's Worf. I had a creepy smiling Riker sticker on the inside but it fell off at some point. Also I'm like 5'1" so I'm never hitting anything with my feet. I'm lucky if they reach the ground when I'm in a chair! Plus I'd never wear shoes in a house. Pretty! Yours isn't really messy. Dimesdan's does stress me a bit though. My desk has a lot on it but I try to keep it organized.
Someone said messy ? Well, at least, you can't really see the dust (but you're allowed to imagine it )
^^I envy those glass desk tops. My desk is solid walnut which is beautiful, but it's also a very delicate finish. I think a glass top would better protect it from scratches and spills.
Oh, but even glass isn't impervious to scratching -or patina as I prefer to call it ETA: Btw, do notice that my monitors are hanging from the wall and that both keyboard and mouse are wireless! -I can't abide a messy desk!
Thanks for the information. Maybe I should use a shellac or sealant, instead. That picture was after cleaning. I let mine get messy, then when I can't take it any longer... it gets a major cleaning! Right now, for instance, I have 2 laptops and a desktop computer on my desk, as well as, a power box-type power source, keyboard and 2 mice. Also, a stack of papers and an external HDD. Looking at it, seems like time for one of those major cleanings...
I'm sure you'd like this image better: Take a deep breath while you look at it -it's sure to relieve some of that stress The sort of 'mess' you see is called creative
Those'll scratch more than glass, what I mean is that it only takes one grain of sand, one cup/mug/plate/other thing that has a bottom not totally covered in glaze to make a fine scratch in glass. Yup I only 'shave off the top' when I can't see the bottom of the TV on the other side of the table...
There's usually lots of papers on it but I recently sorted. I actually like a cluttered desk, I like having my pretties piled up around me.
