Googling that name's turning up nothing.

And just because I prefer ladies dressed in clothes from JT's Stockroom to dudes dressed in clothes from H&M, there's no reason for the sassy attitude, Hipster boy. :p

You know, it's interesting, I usually only get sassy when I think of something clever to say.

You'll have more luck if you try William Moulton Marston ;)

^D'oh, I should have gotten that given his character is the inspiration for many a Hallowe'en costume. :)

Perhaps for your Hallowe'en costume you could go in a a pair of mens jeans, trainers and a football shirt.

Time to put the paddles to this thread, since next week is Halloween.

I'm most likely doing a James Bond theme over three parties, since I don't want to do the Joker or Indiana Jones, and I don't have the bread to pull off a Starfleet Captain from either film era in a proper manner.

For two parties, I'll be Le Chiffre. Black suit, black point collar shirt, black tie, black socks, black shoes, and some red crayon makeup over the left eye. Not necessarily exact with respect to the scarring, but it'll do.

Then for the final night, I'm renting a tuxedo, and have a toy P99 to become Bond himself. If I can swing it, since I don't drink, I'll have a Martini glass with bottled water, so as to look like I'm drinking a vodka martini, shaken, not stirred. (That, and when was the last time you saw someone show up at a costume party in a tuxedo? ;) )

I really want to get pictures of both, since I haven't worn a tuxedo in years.

I'm going to go as Tony Stark. I'm growing my goatee into the Stark style and putting a thin led "tap light" (think hockeypuck with lights on one side) on my chest behind my shirt. Full black suit, etc. I'm going to a black tie Halloween party, so I think it is perfect. I'll post some photos after the party.

I thought maybe you could go with the school girl thing you did I think last year, you know the plaid skirt and white knee highs, you know, if you wanted too, not that it matters to me, but I thought it might be, you know, kind of cool if you wore that again, you know

 Yea I considered it but I think its a little over done now. I will just go with something relatively cheap seeing as I dont have much in the way of cash.

I've just received the first part of my costume in the mail, which is the makeup portion. The second part is a suit jacket I got for 30 bucks that I will rip and burn on the left side, while leaving the right side crisp and ironed. Add a half-burned coin and some creative use of a "Burn & Scar FX Makeup Kit" on the left side of my face and I'll be ready to go. :)

    AH 2 face huh? NICE!

I have my pointed ears. I should have gotten the special effects latex to smooth out the connection but, too expensive. I applied makeup to them already so they are the same color as my skin. I cant wait, I am so exiced. I also got my makeup kit with the eyelashes. Now all I need are some fairy wings and a skirt and I am good to go. I also already have the fishnets.

I must admit that I'm intrigued as to how both your costumes will come out as well. Intriguing concepts to say the least...

Now all I have to do is get up early tomorrow, since it's the first outing of the Le Chiffre costume. Good thing I have three high end Casino Royale chips with me, so I can do his poker chip thumb flip tomorrow when playing board games.

That, and I really can't wait to get my tuxedo...although next year, I'm considering renting a white tuxedo along with an eyepatch, and be Thunderball's Emilio Largo...

Well here's a little sneak peek at my costume. The jacket isn't 100& done, I'm gonna to add some more burns to it near the bottom. I can't tell from watching the movie how far down the damage to his suit goes, but I won't be able to duplicate it exactly anyway so I'll get as close as I can.

I think the shirt should be burned on one side as well....

I went to a party last night. I was Dr. Tobias Funke. I shaved the crown of my head and most of my beard (save the mustache) and showed up wearing a loud shirt, jeans, white socks, and flip flops (I couldn't find any Kedds). When I strolled in, the girls immediately knew who I was and then lamented, "Aww, you should have worn cutoffs!"

So I dropped my pants and showed them, I was indeed wearing cutoffs.

    Yes, there are photos.

No, you probably won't see them.

It is, actually, its just washed out due to the lighting. If you look closely at the left collar you can sorta see it.

That looks real cool, though I'm crying inside for the jacket.

Thanks, and don't feel too bad. It was only $30, and I got it at Target. :)

    A costume with a price.
I have to give the girl in the picture credit for using what she has - or actually hasn't, I guess - to her advantage.
