I made Potato Zucchini soup for the first time. Quite simple but surprisingly good.

All sorts of deliciousness at Mercadito. I had a mango margarita, which, I think is the first time I've liked a margarita. We also shared a bunch of dishes but the shrimp tacos were my favorite. The food was all delicious and bite sized.

The rest of the evening consisted of a bucket of long island, several shots, and rum and cokes.

I made a some really marvelous zucchini bread. I changed the recipe a bit, to make it healthier: I used wheat flour, and substituted 75% of the vegetable oil with apple sauce. I halved the sugar and added some toasted pecans. It turned our incredibly moist and delicious.
To go with the bread I made some nice spinach soup, flavored with just a bit of pepper, salt, and nutmeg.

Went to one of our favorite little hole-in-the-wall Italian places in Boston to watch football with friends, and had a pizza: pepperoni, mushroom, black olive and artichoke hearts. Best pizza in Boston!
