I really liked the actress who did Huntress, and I thought the episode was great. It was kind of interesting seeing Ollie look at someone so similar to himself. I did not expect the reveal of John Barrowman's character, but now I do wonder if he's going to be The Dark Archer.
I'm guessing that Tommy's Dad is the Dark Archer...for now. Eventually Arrow will kill him and Tommy takes over vowing revenge against Arrow.
Let me clarify, I think the actress is attractive. She's not as voluptuous (sp) as Helena is in the comics, is all I meant. The actress is a bit raw boned.
Comics need to start drawing more realistic women--I would be fine if Huntress got a visual makeover (haven't read World's Finest yet) to make her look more like this actress.
Helena Wayne was robin on earth II to her father Batman. Changed her costume persona after accidentally ans irrevocably sliding to Earth 1. The TV show is using the post crisis revision of the character from the 80s which is spot on with the TV show except that she was also a teacher and a little more well adjusted.
Ben Browder is set to appear in the 11th episode “Trust But Verify” as Ted Gaynor, a character from the comics. Spoiler: Trust But Verify On Arrow, Gaynor is Diggle’s commanding officer from his first tour in Afghanistan, who now works as a bodyguard for Blackhawk Squad Protection Group in Starling City. As a series of armored truck robberies strike the city, Gaynor proves to be a polarizing figure between Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Diggle (David Ramsey). IGN
In the comics that character was born in Menomonee Falls, WI?????!!!!! I grewup right near there! I wonder if the writer came who choose that is from there too.
I think the way Oliver sees it is that - Huntress is going after the people who killed her fiancé, so it's purely about revenge while Oliver is going against his father's associates who have harmed the city. So I suppose he sees himself as pursuing a selfless goal.
Yes, but the conversation was specifically about Huntress. And I don't see hoards of teenage girls drooling over Superman's lovingly drawn pecks when I am in the comic shop.
