Hi all, so I really love science fiction. I love how I can press a couple buttons, watch a movie or tv-show and be transported into another world. I love how when I watch science fiction I can feel my mind being expanded.

My personal favorites are 'Star Trek: TNG', 'SG-1/Atlantis' and 'The Outer Limits'. The Outer Limits is almost perfect for me because every episode feels like a movie as the episodes aren't linked together; Every episode has new characters and new stories.

    Top Tier (In this order):
    1. Babylon 5
    2. Deep Space Nine
    3, Farscape

    Second Tier (Order Changes):
    Star Trek: TOS
    Doctor Who
    SG1/Atlantis
    Blake's 7

There are many other shows (A few more Space Opera and many non-Space Opera) I would miss if they didn't exist, but, the above shows would be an absolute crime if they didn't exist

My Holy Trinity of sci-fi are Babylon 5 (at the top), Farscape and Battlestar Galactica '03. After that come DS9, new Doctor Who, Futurama, Firefly and others.

I'd have to say TNG is it, for me. I really should watch DS9 again, though because I've only seen it all the way through just once.

As an out-of-the-box choice, I'd put Beast Wars/Machines as a close second.

I would add Game of Thrones but that is fantasy.
