    I wonder, though, how meaningful those contests are nowadays with so few contestants and so few voters and commentators. When this contest was created the basic idea was to hone writing skills and get some feedback.

    Also, since February is so short and were are already a week into it, I was wondering whether the next contest should run until the end of March. It would give people more time to enter. What do you think?
