I've enjoyed the Seekers series, and am about halfway through the second book. As you've previously mentioned specific actors and actresses who could play each character, I was curious as to who you envisioned playing Katherine Stano. She seems like an interesting character--bright, ambitious, quick on her feet--someone I'm hoping we see a lot more of in future novels.

Also, Stephen Klisiewicz is awesome! He reminds me a little of Bashir. I don't know if that was your intention, but I see a lot of similarities between the two.

I missed this listing of actors to play the cast of Seekers. Can somebody post that here or post a link?
    Thanks for any help!

There is no actor reference for Katherine Stano, as she is based on a real person. Though if I needed to cast the role and could pluck any actor from any point in time, Lauren Graham from circa season one of Gilmore Girls or the movie Bad Santa would be a good fit, I think.

^ I love Lauren Graham so Stano is now a favorite :)

I could swear that in the past I had heard one of the Vanguard authors had "cast" Amy Acker as T'Prynn, and ever since that's been my image of her.

It was one of my early ideas, but I later came to see Bridget Moynahan as the definitive incarnation of the character.

I'm a fan of her character on Blue Bloods (ADA Erin Regan), so I could definitely see her as T'Prynn.

The movie that sold me on Ms. Moynahan as T'Prynn was Lord of War.

I've only ever seen Moynihan in I, Robot and maybe one other thing I don't remember. So I prefer to "cast" Acker in the role because I have a much better mental image of her.

As you like. I encourage folks to mentally cast the characters in my stories in whatever way works best for them. :)

So all the background characters are Al Leong and Patricia Tallman? Sweet.

Anyone want to see Vanguard as the next Trek series? Titan maybe?

^So the men get to pose normally, but Desai and, inexplicably, T'Prynn are posing seductively? Somebody please tell this guy about The Hawkeye Initiative. He's also got the women's uniform colors inverted. Desai wears gold and T'Prynn wears red.

And why are the women wearing heels?

Heels were part of Starfleet attire during TOS but were phased out by TNG/DS9.

I pictured T'Prynn in red, so I guess I was correct there, but I always pictured Desai in red also, since Shaw wore red. I guess I just assumed all JAG officers wore red during the TOS era. The text probably specified gold, but I obviously didn't retain that tidbit.

Oddly, I always pictured Desai in the pants uniform variant and T'Prynn in the skirt, whereas this artist has those reversed. I can't recall if the text ever commented one way or the other.

It was the other way around. T'Prynn was often described wearing the miniskirt variant, while Desai favored trousers.
