As the title says, TNT you suck.

I just finished Episode six and went to IMDB to see when season two started (figured season one was like The Walking Dead) only to find out it was canceled, it was a great show with, great actors and great acting, why would you cancel it? :wtf:

It's a real shame shows like this can't make it with all the long running trash still going.

TNT basically dumped the series, so it's unsurprising that they cancelled it.

The reviews were all over the place. Was it any good?

The ratings were terrible. The finally pulled in 400,000 viewers. That wouldn't survive on any network. If it's not making money, then it's not going to air. No one cares about our personal TV preferences.

"suck" is really an expletive that needed to be censored in the title?

As a child, when someone else would say "You suck" the target of that slur would immediately say "LOLLYPOPS!" quite loudly.

I remember in grade school "suck" pretty much being treated as an expletive you weren't allowed to say and I never understood why. As an adult looking back I *think* I understand what they were going for but even still it doesn't make that much sense. I doubt it's a bad enough expletive these days to censor it.

The word cock is usually thought to be in stealth de facto simpatico with the word suck.

We both know how sensitive some folks can be around here so I spelled it that way.

Dunno know what they were but dropping it smack dab in the middle of the holiday season probably didn't do it any favors.

No, probably not. I remember thinking that it was a strange time to put on a mob miniseries.

Hubby and I both liked Mob City, and neither of us are terribly fond of mob-movies in general. The show had some top-notch actors; sad it didn't survive to make it past the "mini-series" stage.

It was so short, what they should have done is run it over two or three consecutive days and advertise it as a miniseries event. It might have pulled better ratings that way. Asking for dedicated viewing over the holidays just screams 'burning off something we hated but already paid for'.
