For the fourth time in three weeks I went to IKEA with my parents (again) today [IMG]

I have this closet that was designed for clothes on hangers (but I don't have any of those (apart from my tux -which is way to small for me anyway)) so I needed some sort of shelf-system to put in it!

While I was there I also picked up some LED-lamps (I'm telling ya': they're only 5 mm thick and come with adhesive tape to install them with  ) to light up my bedroom and that closet.

Plus a few other things -while I was there- to light up my home and 'organise' a bit of stuff in systematic ways.

Cool. I love Ikea. We got some great water glasses there, not to mention most of hubby's home-office furniture.

I'm off to do some shopping today for a family friend. He just got a new puppy, so I think I'll head over to PetSmart and see if they have anything that would make a cute gift.

^At this point in time the only furniture I have that is NOT from IKEA is the chair I'm sitting in and the shelves behind me (back when I started 'collecting' that system (it's called ABC) we didn't have any IKEA anywhere near where I lived).

My kitchen (IKEA distributes Whirlpool!), my bedroom, the living room and everything but the toilet in the bathroom is from IKEA by now [IMG]

After reading the news earlier that Terriers has been canceled, I loaded up iTunes and purchased Robert Duncan's "Gunfight Epiphany," the show's theme song.

    "Caught a ride with a trickster and a javelin-man
To a town down by the sea.
Steel Neena was a girl who would set me free, she said
I lay my soul out down to bleed."

    Sigh.

"So you believe in these sorts of things? "Let's just say, I want to believe."

I re-watched IWTB not all that long ago. Still a damn fine character-focused outing for Mulder and Scully.

Indeed. While I definitely would like to see a big alien invasion X-Files movie, I still very much enjoyed "I Want to Believe." It was neat seeing where the character were 6 years later.

PsychoPere, I feel like you and I could rock the hell out of a scifi marathon. We seem to share most of the same opinions about a lot of things.

I bought two new wallets the other day: an ordinary hip wallet, and an old-school jacket wallet.

Actually, I've been buying a lot of little things like that lately. Some sandalwood soap. A boar's tooth necklace. A money clip. A silver and onyx ear cuff.

Hardly any books and DVDs at all. What's happened to me? Who am I, and what have I done with myself?
