Yes, you're so right. None of the others can match the sheer awesomeness of curing a rock! You can list all their shining achievements, but Bones improvised a cure for a rock! Total brilliance. :techman:

Favorite: The EMH... one of the most entertaining characters in all of Trekdom.

Least: Phlox... sorry, I just never forgave him for Dear Doctor.

My favorite (as if everyone didn't already know) is the Doctor, aka the EMH. He was consistently great, and made even the mediocre episodes of VOY worth watching.

My second favorite is Bones, for his endearingly surly ways and all-around awesomeness.

I guess he would be followed by Bashir. Which is weird; normally I'm not crazy about characters like him, but I really like Bashir. He's annoyingly eager, but sweet.

As for my least favorites, it's a three-way tie between Crusher, Pulaski, and Phlox. Phlox might have been higher on my list, if it weren't for "Dear Doctor". Stupid :censored: writers.

Hate the writers, not the doctor.

Oh, I do. I don't hate Phlox; other than in that one terrible episode, he's a great character, played by a great actor. I blame the writers entirely for that abomination.

The writers do define the character. ;)

    Hmmm...

I liked most of the doctors, now that I think about it.

The only ones I didn't like were Bashir and Pulaski.

Favorite, hands down is the EMH. Picardo's performance is just magnificent, especially with his wit and dry humor. McCoy is the runner up. He's opinionated and stubborn at times, but his concern and care is earnest. I'd trust him with my life, no questions asked.

Least favorite is Pulaski. While I found her more intellectually entertaining than Crusher, her personality came off as a bit sterile... just like Muldaur. I don't get why a notable number of people don't like Phlox. I found him quite refreshing on Enterprise.

I can't speak for anyone else, but his complete lack of morality in Dear Doctor just tainted the character for me. Crusher would be second worst on my list, and I'll freely admit he had more personality than her.

The problem with Crusher, IMO, is that she was only ever there to be Wesley's mother. After he left they never really did anything to add to or develop her character.

Yeah, it's not that she was bad, annoying or anything, but her role in the show really was just to spit out the medical technobabble, be Wesley's mom and Picard's part time love interest after he left.

Best - Tie between EMH and Phlox

Worst - If someone put a gun to my head I guess its Crusher.

Best: Bones. I'm a TNG fan but Crusher never really excelled. I rather liked Bashir until they did the stupid biologically engineered crap. EMH was decent as well.

    Worst: Pulaski

Yeah, I'm of the same opinion. I never disliked Beverly, but she was never a standout character. She was just kind of there. The only time I really liked her was in "Data's Day", when she taught Data how to dance.

Speaking of Data, I love your avatar. :D

Favorite: EMH, but I love Phlox, Bashir and McCoy as well. Great role filled by interesting characters.

Least Favorite: Crusher. Other than her hair she's a huge yawn.
