I always wanted one of the later series to feature a Horta in some capacity. I remember hearing somewhere that there were plans for a Horta to be in the Federation Council scene in Star Trek IV but they couldn't pull it off.

Looks fantastic on a large flatscreen.
Why the Hell would anyone want to incorporate human engrams (memory records) into a computer? They're someone else's memories.

Lower Decks, season 7 of TNG. Incidentally, this was the first ever episode of Star Trek that I saw.

"Is There in Truth No Beauty?" One of the best third-season episodes, and proof that Star Trek's positive vision of the future still had plenty of room for interesting, flawed, troubled characters . . . at least back in TOS.

I tried watching "For the Uniform" last night but fell asleep (not because of the episode, but rather in fact because I'm getting sick :()

I was wondering. How could the Yangs speak English so well but yet recite the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence so badly?

There was no evidence that they could read very well.
