Well, both the clothes and the occasional fast food lunch are treats, so they are complementary in a way. And helpfully, total burger intake is limited by the clothes, as too many burgers and the clothes won't fit. It's a gastro-sartorial homeostatic negative feedback loop... :)

Thanks, I sure did! I saw two games in Baltimore (Camden Yards) and three in Philadelphia (Citizens Bank Park). Had a great time at all of them. (Also: in Baltimore I met the totally awesome Tora Ziyal.)

Now that's two ballparks I can cross off the list...next stops: Atlanta, Tampa Bay, Miami.

Latest purchase: coffee and egg/bacon sandwich at Philadelphia airport.

My stone (6 yards) arrived after work last night. Took about 2 hours to shovel and rake. Unfortunately there wasn't enough stone to do the picnic table area (which will require another 2 or so yards).

    Here's the before.

    And the after...

and yes... my bones are sore this morning :p

And a white picket fence, no less. I'm going to be looking forward to seeing the before and after shots once it's completed.

Today, I purchased two scoops of gelato, one raw milk amarena, and the other fruits of the forest. It really wasn't the right day for it - wind chill brought things down to 4 °C (!), but I had a craving like a pregnant woman, and it was worth freezing for... Scoop Covent Garden, some of the best ice cream I've had in London.

Are those Italian? My friend Melissa has a pair of shoes similar to those and she once told me she thought they were Italian.

^I believe they're actually a Danish brand. What I enjoy is getting a stylish and comfortable leather boot that originally went for almost $200 for only $59.95. They are cute, aren't they, auntie, I've wanted them for months!

I almost forgot to show off what I purchased this Friday

Springtime is when I, apparently, fall for the Getz/Gilberto-stuff so I bought one for the collection -and then this other thing just for fun:

This adorable dress. Well, I pre-ordered it. It's not available until June. It's just too cute!

Had a mini shopping spree at Sephora today- got some hot pink nail polish and lipstick to (almost) match, and a roller-bottle of Betsey Johnson's Too Too perfume.

Indeed -apparently I'm not the only one under the influence of the season :rommie:

Oh and, SPOCKED, I'll put the kettle on, tea or coffee?

Or would you rather have a beer?
