Michael Douglas Blames Cunnilingus Marathons for Throat Cancer: Actor says his throat cancer had nothing to do with all the booze he drank and all the cigarettes he pensively smoked, but it had everything to do with the marathon cunnilingus sessions he bestowed on his lovers.

 

It gets better. He also says that subsequent oral sex is the cure.

 

I don't agree with this. I really belive it had to do with the cigarettes maybe not the booze's. Cigarettes will kill you.

 

I thought this was going to be something political.

Cancer's genetic component adds a random factor.

For example, Warren Zevon's alcohol and cigarette intake was legendary. When it was first announced he had lung cancer, everyone assume it was from that. Others, however, attributed it to asbestos exposure.

In the end, who knows?

 

HPV is the number one cause of oral cancer now, beating smoking...

Some are now questioning if, when smoking was much more prevalent, that it was being blamed for cancer that was actually HPV related.

 

After playing Liberace with such gusto, I suppose Mr. Douglas felt it would be a good time to dwell on his heterosexual activities. How unfortunate that announcing the female genitals are the cause of a deadly disease doesn't carry quite the message he intended.

I'm glad Mr. Douglas is taking this seriously and not just paying lip service to the cause. I for one hope he can lick this disease once and for all.

I can't think of anything more revolting than an old man talking about how many women he's gone down on. Eeeeeewwwwww.

 

People still don't get that HPV, a sexually transmitted virus, causes cancer. Cervical cancer, anal cancer, throat cancer. Good on him for talking about it and getting it into the headlines.

There's a lot of hype in these articles that has nothing to do with the actual Douglas quotes. Such as the "marathon sessions".

I think it's revolting for any man to do it but an old man should know better.

 

All the more reason young girls need to be vaccinated. Can't spread oral, anal, and vaginal cancers if it never starts. HPV is a cancer causing virus when it's the right strain. If all strains of HPV caused cancer, we'd be experiencing a wide spread catastrophe.

Everyone under the age of 26 should get the HPV vaccinations. It prevents so many things.
