One of my favorite pieces of Batman animation to this day. Ironside was perfect for the voice (and frankly still would be).

I'd bet cash money that the cover to part 2 will feature Batman and Superman fighting.

It's not bad, but it doesn't evoke the film's distinctive animation style.

Yeah, without knowledge of the title that art tells you nothing about the story. It could be used for any Batman movie or comic. Its very generic.

I agree. It's lovely art work, but too generic looking. Batman looks nothing like "The Dark Knight Returns" Batman. He looks like present day Batman.

I'm with you guys. I would think they would have tried to go with something that makes the setting a little more obvious for people like me who haven't read the comic. It looks like a fairly standard Batman image.

I do hope AJK is right...I'd love to see Supes and Bats on the image for part two. That'd be an awesome cover.

Judging from that clip, I find it to be too slick, both in appearance and performances, to really capture the flavor of the original.

Michael Emerson from Lost is to voice The Joker. Funnily enough, his is a name which keeps coming up on wishlists to play a live-action Riddler. Here's what he has to say about playing the clown prince of crime:

There's also a pic of what the Joker from TDKR will look like at the above link.

Ohh, Michael Emerson is a fantastic vocal performer. He should do really interesting things with the Joker. This is the best news I've heard about this whole project.

    That is awesome!
I have a bit of an off topic subject here for a moment:
I was just looking at the Wikipedia page for DCUA movies, and Wonder Woman is actually the fourth highest grossing movie in the entire 15 movie series. I find it very hard to believe that could possibly be proof that people aren't interested in WW or female Superheroes. I find ironic that I read that Supergirl wasn't included in the title for Apocalypse because of disappointing sales for WW, when WW made $126,5071 more than Apocalypse.

The "Wonder Woman" DTV is also one of the better ones IMO. It's in my top five. I don't understand their line of thinking.

Yeah, I was annoyed by that line of thinking, but knowing that it was more popular than I originally thought makes it even more aggravating.
