The game is simple: answer the question in the last post and you get to ask a new question. The only restriction is that the question must be about TNG. If no one can answer a question for 24 hours, anyone may propose a new question and the answer for the unanswered question must be revealed. I'll start off: Which musical instrument can Riker play?
Jack London was primarily a 20th Century author (all his novels were written after 1901) and tafkats said "did the crew befriend"... so I think he meant Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens). But you're partly right in that he befriended Data and wrote some short stories before 1901. But to answer your question: the Breen (since we see her apparently "read" a Ferengi. Just covering my ass!) *** Let's step this up a notch, shall we? : Name every episode in which we see a poker game aboard the Enterprise. Bonus points: Name the episode in which a poker scene was written, but for whatever reason never made it into the final cut!
Why is there always someone who wants to turn a light-hearted, enjoyable little quiz into an overblown, complicated monster that requires more effort than anyone wants to expend?
It's not like I asked what the winning hands were. By my count, there are 13. List 7 and we'll call it even. If you'd like to cheat, you can find the answer in seconds using Google. Here's a video that may help: [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qLq9QSWjyAQ[/yt]
Look, I apologize, I wasn't aware of the rudimentary nature of these quizzes. I've never participated in one (can you tell?). And the OP never said certain questions were off limits. I won't make people wait 48 hours (let's say, 1/4th that long)... but, seriously? You can't name 7 episodes you see in the video? There must be people on this board that can handle the question. Surely. Especially now.
As I said, if no one can answer a question for 24 hours, someone may step up and propose a new question. This rule prevents challenging questions from bogging down the thread and eventually euthanizing it. BTW, I welcome challenging questions, perhaps not at the difficulty level of Klingon Boggle, but challenging enough not to rely solely on memory or Memory Alpha. On a personal note, I think Maxwell's question can be answered by someone. If people on youtube know how many openable panels Data has, surly a devoted forum can answer that question too. Edit: lowered the threshold to 24 hours, edited first post.
In no particular order: The Measure of a Man The Price Ethics The Outcast Cause and Effect The Quality of Life Best of Both Worlds I Second Chances Descent I Lower Decks All Good Things More than 7, so lets move on. What episode does Wesley get his field promotion to Ensign?
Okay, that's 9 correct. I'll go with that. (The Price and Ethics only have discussions of poker.) Here's the full list in air order: The Measure of a Man The Emissary Allegiance The Best of Both Worlds, Part I Legacy The Outcast Cause and Effect The Quality of Life Second Chances Descent, Part I Liasons Lower Decks All Good Things... *** Answer: Menage a Troi Who was the 4th Commanding officer of the Enterprise D?
^ You forgot to answer the question above. The one that answers correctly, posts the next question. I know you're new at these things, so don't worry about it.
Sorry, amended my post: Answer: Menage a Troi Who was the 4th Commanding officer of the Enterprise D?
Data, in Gambit, no? Picard-EaF Riker-BoBW Jelico-CoC Data-Gambit Not certain, so I'll wait before asking a new question.
