What Did You Have For Dinner Last Night?

Whole wheat tortellini and a salad.

 

Leftover mashed potatoes and chicken.

 

Beef Milanese, pasta and green beans.

 

Some pretty decent four-cheese lasagna with garlic breadsticks.

 

Spaghetti and french bread. Coke.

 

Doritos and Coca-Cola.

 

teriyaki chicken and rice.

 

Was at a wedding yesterday and they had a buffet style set up. Had Caesar Salad. Pasta. Roast Potatoes, fish, and a couple of buns. White Wine. Wedding cake for desert.

 

Some Mandarin orange chicken and a few mini-eggrolls.

 

A cheeseburger.

 

Wiener schnitzel, spätzle, asparagus, and hunter sauce.

 

Shrimp and pork jambalaya pasta. It's essentially the same thing as a traditional jambalaya with noodles taking the place of rice. I'm using egg noodles but rotini or penne also works well.

Real easy to make. Mince the celery, onions and bell pepper, mix it all up, toss that in your frying pan with the shrimp and pork with a little bit of oil, stir-fry style. You don't want to cook the meat all the way though, just enough to sear the outside.

Next get a little water in a big pot and throw all the other crap in there, except for the noodles. Get everything boiling real good for about 5 minutes, then toss the noodles in. When the noodles are starting to get tender, cover the pot and reduce to simmer for about 30 minutes. That will thicken the sauce up, and when you no longer see water in the pot it is done.
