And yet another Mechanical fauilure on Lewis's car, that's what the third in three races. Just how many points have McLaren lost due to mechanical failure/botched pit stops etc..

And what's going on with that Astro turf, the ciruit shouldn't start to fall apart if it's raced on. If it can stand the punishment of a F1 or any other car going onto to it shouldn't be used.

It almost certainly cost McLaren and Lewis another point.

Red Bull may give you wings, but McLaren gives you a fucking magic carpet.

That was about the only entertaining part of the Korean GP. Even Psy looked bored.

I'm expecting another boring Vettel procession this weekend. Hopefully that's not the case. Alonso needs to hang in there and put Christian Horner's stupid wunderkind in his place!

Would much prefer someone other than Alonso or Vettel to win the Championship, but if I had to pick between the two I would pick Alonso.

Anyone notice the Red Bull sounding a little blown diffuser-y? I was doing something else with the qualifying on in the background and then I heard a car sounding a bit odd, looked up at the screen and it was a Red Bull.

Well you never know perhaps Grosjean will fly up the inside and give him a puncture on the first lap. :p

I've an idea for a new regulation for next year.

If you fail to set a time in a Q2/Q3 period you have to use the tyres you have to start the race on the tyres on which you set your fastest lap in the previous qualifying period. I.e if you don't set a time in the top 10 shoot out you start the race on the tyres on which you set your fastes Q2 time.

Sadly that didn't happen - Boring Vettel procession after all.

At least Alonso was second, so Vettel's lead is only 13 points - it's not over yet

An exciting Indian GP. Lots of action. Great driving by Vettel, Alonso, Webber, Hamilton.

Still 3 races left, a lot to play for. And Schumi's been a naughty boy again. Ignoring blue flags, if the stewards do take any actions I would be suprised if it was much more than a reprimand and a fine.

Not a great race; the ridiculous haze (?smog) really detracted from the viewing spectacle. We had some of that in Korea too, but this was much worse.

Having said, the top drivers all performed well. There just weren't many exciting moments, barring the Hamilton/Webber contest towards the end. I liked the quick-change operation on Lewis' steering wheel too. That was impressive.

Yep 3.3 seconds for a tyre and sterring wheel change is good. Saying McLaren usually just do the tyre change in around the 2.6-2.8 second mark.

Hulkenberg signs for Sauber for 2013

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/formula1/20152082

So who will partner him and given Hulkenbergs move it seems likely that Di Resta will remain at Force India so who will partner him? The return of Sutil perhaps

Well Lewis has managed to get pole, and Vettel has a problem of some sort. If it's a case of he ran out of fuel. I hope he likes 24th place.

And Vettel *is* starting from the back of the grid!
