Ahhh... the Delta Quadrant version of the Typhon Pact with personal vendettas against Voyager.

Excellent. I've been waiting for the Full Circle fleet to get back into familiar areas of the Delta Quadrant, seeing the various species we saw during the series' run, and the little tidbit we got in Protectors left me wanting to see more of this banding of various Delta Quadrant races.

Hopefully not, tho I do admit am a little nervous in anticipating this book; still, am glad this particular Voyager novel is coming out somewhat sooner, this year, rather than later, lol.

I hope this novel will continue the reversal of the TV series' idea of "Voyager travels in a straight line home for 7 years and everything important in a Quadrant was in a line!"

Where exactly are Voyager's saucer seperation seams?

I don't think Voyager was ever equipped for saucer separation. It seems like something reserved for ships with an average crew of over five hundred or so, like the Galaxy class and Sovereign class (and possibly the Excelsior class, I remember the Generations novelization having Sulu running a separation drill when he's contacted about Kirk's death), while Voyager averaged around 150, probably not much more than 200 with a full compliment.

^ Voyager does separate in TET. So it is equipt now

The lines of Cross Cult's model are sufficiently graceful - except for the Vesta-like impulse thruster. They look slapped on.

Concerning saucer separation, looking at Starfleet ships, it appears to me that saucer separation is an option for most them.

Chris and I talked about it on the upcoming Literary Treks and I'm not really a fan.

Please keep in mind, that this is NOT the design Mark Rademaker is working on, the man who also designed the Vesta class and Merian class.

I've always thought of Voyager as a vessel with "hanging" nacelles.
