Then why don't you just get a pair and start wearing them to your everyday and formal activities? Somebody has to be the first one to get a fashion trend going!
Of course you can't just wear the boots - you need the rest of the outfit to really set it off: (this is a portrait of Charles I)
Tattoos can be mostly removed nowadays, and except the most extreme stuff like stretching and flesh tunnels, most piercings will heal with minimal or no scar. I doubt it, since boots are at most 3000 years old. I don't know, but I weep for the poor men who are stripped of their god-given right to wear boots.
Are boots the right footwear when wearing a catsuit, especially a skin tight catsuit? But then, what would be the correct type of footwear? I confess that I don't remember ever looking at the feet of a catsuit wearer....
Most of the catsuit costumes I've seen had boots, either separately or built-in. Seven always had high heels, which I thought was a bit sadistic of the Doctor to have done to her.
Still, that's more of a risk than I'm willing to take, which should not surprise you in the least. Any decorations on my body are going to be on clothes (for further review, check my avatar), not flesh. Although I admit it would be funny to get a tattoo that said "If found, please drop in nearest mailbox".
The Doctor was worried that Seven's raging self-confidence problems would be exacerbated by the fact that she's only 3 inches taller than both Janeway and Torres. Walking around all day in stripper shoes seemed the obvious solution.
The Great Turd of the Galaxy. Yep. Ask Richard Arnold, Bjo Trimble or David Gerrold about him some day. There was also the naked woman in only a large bow, with a gift tag that read, "I'm a birthday present for David Gerrold."
I'm thinking I'll never get a tatt now. I thought about it for years but I think I'm fond of my unmarked flesh. Apparently 1 in 7 Australians have tattoos, we are one of the most tattooed nations and that's all ages.. most people I know have one. I'll never get a catsuit either! But, I'll take the boots
