Strange how the line is packed close enough that everyone is against each other, except Linda and Jolene.[/quote]
Funny you should mention that. I read a quote from Linda Park a while back where she was asked to describe each of her fellow cast members in one word. When she got to Jolene she said "complex". Interesting. She was extremely nice with the others. If I find that quote again I'll post it.

Well, I started to comment on how sweet and selfless it was of Linda to move forward and make sure she didn't block Jolene's camera angle...but then I took a closer look and realized she was just getting into position to boost John Billingsley's wallet.

These pics are great. We sometimes tend to forget that for all its faults, Enterprise was a good ride.

These three are sailors from the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Enterprise, which was deployed to Afghanistan after 9/11. They were named "Sailors of the Year" by the Navy, and the show invited them on to do cameos in "Desert Crossing." They are Aviation Electronic Technician Robert Pickering, Aviation Electrician's Mate Second Class Timothy Whittington, and Personnelman Third Class Sara Elizabeth Pizzo.

(Actually, I didn't mean to sound quite this geeky, but the article at startrek.com isn't coming up, so I'm putting some of the info down here. :p ).

    Oops, I stand corrected.
I wonder what I was thinking of...
wasn't there some astronauts that visited the set of Enterprise and put on costumes?

The upper portion of the blade cuts throught meats and softer organic materials...the lower plows right through bone and even some lighter metals!"

I could have sworn that Mike Fincke, NASA astronaut and avid Star Trek fan, was on the show. But I couldn't find any info on an appearance.

I do know that a looooooong distance chat was arranged between him and Scott Bakula while Fincke was doing a 6-month tour aboard the International Space Station in 2004. That must have been cool for both of them. :)

After Fincke and cosmonaut Gennady Padalka returned home in October, the ground crew at Johnson Space Center arranged for them to be presented with a replica of the Starfleet Command emblem as it was seen in Enterprise's episode "Home," which aired the night before Fincke and Padalka returned to Earth. The design was taken from a placque in the hallway outside Forrest's office.
