As most of you probably know, Roxann Dawson (B’Elanna) was once married to Casey Biggs: the actor that played Damar on DS9. Does anyone know how they met? I thought that I read somewhere that they met before either of them were on Star Trek (at least they met before Voyager started). I wonder if Casey’s role on DS9, that is his relationship with TPTB, helped Roxann win the role on Voyager or if it at least influenced her decision to audition.
They were already divorced (and Roxann had since remarried) when Voyager started. Casey wasn't hired for DS9 until a year after that.
Really? To be honest, I can't even remember what season Damar showed up on DS9. IIRC, it was the episode when Dukat stole a bird of prey from the Klingons.
I guess that would be an awkward convention question since they are divorced. BTW, why did you decide to use a Wesley - Robin Lefler avatar?
Go through their collective career history. They probably met on the set of some show they might have done together, as most actors do. ..........or they might have the same agent and met at a party.
The only thing they've been in together was a short film in '97, so not there. (Although they were in consecutive episodes of Jake and the Fatman, which means there is some potential for a meeting there. If not, pretty coincidental timing. ) EDIT: Scratch that, she was already Roxann Biggs when she did her episode in '91. They were married somewhere between 1985 and 1987.
There's no rhyme or reason to it. He was never more cool than when he bagged this babe ... that's all that's behind it, if even that. Ro will make the rounds eventually, don't worry ...
But you know it was never as fun as it really would have been. Kira acted like it was some cesspit of sin but what did we see? People drinking. Scantily clad girls spinning wheels. THAT'S IT. OR the Feds and Bajor is dead dull, that is probably the answer.
I'll guess that Bajor is dead dull, at least. A planet of people known for their sense of spirituality, crafts, nature gardens, temples, and an annual festival where they write their problems on scrolls and then burn them (like a numbers list you don't want the cops to find). Yeah, that Gratitude Festival really sounds festive.
And there is NO DRINKING at the gratitude festival!!! Like, people are just grateful while nibbling toast!
I forgot it because they never showed it. HBO STAR TREK WHERE ARE YOU All those holodecks and what did we get? Cowboy Klingons on trains.
