It would be nice if that were mentioned somewhere. Anyone who doesn't already know that would come away from your website thinking Jackill invented the whole thing. Marian
I really like this design, but IDK about the nacelles being so short/stubby... to my own eyes, IDK if it works as well as it was intended to, but that's just my own opinion. That little shuttle is a REALLY tight fit for the bay, too, lol, but it looks nice. And now, the impending question... where's the sensor dish?
Looks great, Forbin. And having the pylons connect to the saucer means the their support beams inside don't take up space in the shuttlebay, etc.
Anyone: where do you think the warp drive engine room should be housed aboard the Starship Minmus? I'm thinking it should be separate from the impulse engine room, maybe warp engineering would be located in the lower saucer vortex... And the more I look at the Minmus, the more I think it would look great with little mini-dishes on the front-ends of those small pods above the saucer.
What a great model well done I love the TOS design I also love where u put the hanger bay and the added detail of the type f shuttle excellent !!!!
Why not just make the Impulse and Warp engineering in the same location? A smaller ship needs more effecient uses of space, right?
They are megaphasers because they come in the TOS Era Weapons Pack - 2 of them and a torpedo pod. Combine this with my Thin Pylon Pack and you can make a TOS style Reliant roll bar.
Very Nice TOS version of the Lancer there Forbin also this should be what the ship from the Alvin and the Chipmunks (2d animation from the 80-90's) Star Wreck (Star Trek parody) should have looked like
Nice little frigate you got there. I like how she has a shuttle bay at the rear of the bridge section, similar to many later starships. By the way, you wouldn't happen to be that guy who runs that Inpayne website? I couldn't help but notice that your Avatar uses one of the ships from that site. And quality of the Minmus matches that of the models on the aforementioned website.
