It's what they did with Jerry Orbach, but unfortunately he passed away (and L&O:TBJ was cancelled anyway).
I see that Munch's brother and both of his ex-wives were in the crowd as well. Played by, AFAIK, the same actors who played them in H:LOTS. Were any of them credited by name?
^^ I'm not sure. I was only looking out for Clark Johnson's name. Did Munch have more than one brother? The brother that was on this episode was a different actor than the one I remember from Homicide. The episode when they discovered that Crosetti had killed himself, Munch went to his mortician brother to get a deal on a casket.
Zebras, the one where the nerdy csi guy tried to kill stabler after framing the paranoid. She was in the same chatroom a the guy. It was just on the USA marathon this week.
She originated the character of Gwen Munch in Homicide: Life on the Street 'All is Bright', though Munch's ex-wife was mentioned several times before, most notably in the first L&O/H:LotS crossover episode 'For God and Country', when Munch found out that Jerry Orbach's Lennie Briscoe had an affair with Gwen after their divorce.
If Jerry Orbach had been alive today and he could have appeared in this SVU ep, that would have been off the charts in terms of sheer awesomeness.
Definitely. The man was sheer class . Good bye Det. Munch, you'll be missed . Stay damn it!!! Your presence helps to make the show . Some good quotes from the show: From L&O SVU (Tangled) [Searching a suspect's apartment for his cat to gather trace evidence] Fin Tutuola: I don't see a cat. John Munch: That doesn't mean anything. They're freaky little creatures. They lurk. [Munch finds the cat moments later] John Munch: Oh, there you are, you demonic little furball.
I don't know about that, but they did do a few crossovers when Munch was on Homicide and they teamed up.
