why did Pine have his hair styled the wrong way in STID?

in the 3rd season it was getting toward the movie style...

 

If they don't all shave bald in the next movie I'm boycotting it for blantant racism against Deltans.

 

My hair looks completely different than it does yesterday. I'm not worried about it.

Just watched Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit , in the opening flashback he's got it styled exactly TOS Kirk style. I think its a toup though as its longer and the rest of the film its crew cut real hair.

Anyway for ST3 he should grow it longer and have it styled the Kirk TOS way like the opening to JR:SR

From what I gathered, Pine appeared on an afternoon talkshow.

 

I mean with the hair . shooting time for ST3 must be imminent and it looks like Pine is sporting a TOS season 2 Kirk style (styled the correct way)

 

I don't think Shat's hair was ever that floppy.
