Here's what's goin on.. After digging through a lot of source material, I decided to use ref images from the trek auction and just go with it. This shows the upper back of the leather portion of the chair in progress. The lower portion is next, then the front of the leather seat area will follow. Hating organics at the moment; but, warming up to them.

Whoa :) Organics isn't too bad, you can get away with alot of low-poly stuff and make up for it with shading selection. Nice to see you back at it!

After lots of playing about, I'm starting to like what I'm seeing a little more. Still not entirely pleased; but,
the bloody thing is progressing. Probably more updates later today yet. We'll see.

The basic geometry is cake. It's the bit where you need to make part of it look like soft, stretched leather that becomes a pain in the aft side. ;)

Ok, so, the buttons on the right arm of the chair need some modifying at this point. But, I've
dumped a multisub on this thing and partially rigged it. Getting happier about it as it progresses.
    :)

    And, thank you ;)

Got into some more detailing work today. Adjusted some UV maps and added images for the console
overheads and viewscreen while I was at it. Still needs a little work; but, happy with the outcome
overall on the displays. Only real problem at the moment is that some of them are inverted because
of the way the uvs were originally done. Easy fix. Enjoy ;)

You know, that's STILL my favorite Trek bridge.

    Lovely work, man. :)

Thank you. Trying hard to give it a warm, lived in look to the extent possible.
