Productions evolve over time. There was a time when Axanar was going to film on Phase II sets.
It always seemed odd to me that someone who sewed a costume wanted credit on a film.
A costume designer? Sure. But someone who sewed a costume?
Film credits have changed a lot over the decades...Go see Alfred Hitchcock's 1950s films and the end credit sequence takes about 30 seconds to a minute. The average end credits starting in the 80s were often long enough to match with the length of a pop song, say 2 to 3 minutes.
Nowadays, they take over 5 minutes.
Are the films better? debatable...but they do seem to credit anyone and everyone involved in the making of a film...
