Thanks for the kind words, everyone!
, truth be told, I really don't get out nearly as often as I would like to take photos (maybe once or twice a month at this rate). But this weekend I went upstate to see family. And since I was a passenger in the car, I figured I'd see what I could capture out the window as we headed up the Thruway at 70mph - which offers some interesting views. The snow certainly helped give everything a bit of personality. But I wish I'd set my shutter speed even faster than the 1/2000th of a second I ended up using (it's tough to tell, in camera, just how sharp the images are). I wound up with some decent shots, but I'd have had even more had I jacked the shutter speed up even further. Still, it was an interesting experiment that I'll try again sometime.
