The pilot was free on iTunes and I gave it a watch solely out of loyalty to Ron Moore. I don't believe he had much to do with the pilot, which is good because the pilot is fairly uninspiring. There's an interesting premise, sure, but one that's been done many times before. The dialogue is pretty terrible and the acting is hit and miss. Jordan is completely unbelievable as a doctor and is the weakest link in the cast, but I didn't think much of the military guy, either.

I'm going to check out the next two over the week, but it's because of Moore and the other big sci-fi writers, Steven Maeda and Javier Grillo-Marxuach, that are on the show as opposed to anything I saw.

I should say that the direction was quite good and the frozen monkeys was quite a sight.
