Just finished the book, and I very much enjoyed it, as I have with James' other novels. I can't say it's objectively
the best of the The Fall
books so far, each one has been rather stylistically different and thus any such comparison would be problematic, but I think
it's the one I like best overall, personally. Well-paced, with a good, sensible plot and a host of characters I've always enjoyed (Tuvok, Nog, Tom Riker, etc), as well as a very, very deft and natural approach to continuity. The way it should be done all around.
