After the Reformation, some progressive Vulcans proposed changes to the koon-ut-kal-if-fee ritual. Instead of dying in combat, the loser would have had to endure the humiliation of jumping out of the cake at the groom's bachelor party. Conservative Vulcan hardliners however, prevailed.
