71. The Bling Ring (B)
On some level, making a movie about the title characters of this movie strikes me as the least healthy thing for them, even if said movie ultimately depicts them as (for the most part) immature, painfully shallow druggies. Marc is the only one with any suggestion of depth (if this wasn't made by a female filmmaker, I'm sure somebody would have criticized the male character being the only one). Marc and Rebecca are the focus of the robbery phase, but once they get caught the focus largely shifts to Emma Watson's hilariously vapid Nikki -- if she was a wholly fictional creation, people would find her implausible. It's a movie that more or less repeats the same thematic point in every scene, but it's pleasant.
