I don't mind that relationship. Edith is finally in a genuine relationship and she deserves that, although the fleeing to Germany part is a bit much, I admit.
As usual, Maggie Smith was running on all cylinders. I died of laughter at "It's the job of grandmothers to interfere." Seriously, I could watch The Adventures of Violet, The Dowager Countess of Grantham
and leave everyone else behind (even Mr. Bates and Anna).
