66. The Shawshank Redemption (A+)
I watched this for the first time in a while last night, along with my friend Stephanie, who had never seen it before (and didn't know anything about it either, so she managed to get the proper experience). Still one of my favourite movies. Rewatches always are always interesting to pick up on the subtleties of Robbins' performance in key scenes where what the audience at first thinks is happening is different from what is actually happening, but this time it really occurred to me how the Warden's dialogue in his scene with Tommy makes it seem like the moral crisis he's seeking a solution for is one thing, but is actually another.
