Really can't believe the number of people complaining about a few pieces of classical music "snuck in."
The whole point of doing the Doctor Who Prom is to introduce children to the world of classical music and concerts.
Ah, and here I thought it was to celebrate the music of Doctor Who
. My mistake.
My eight-year-old boy loves classical music because
of Doctor Who
. And we can't even get across the Pond to attend the Prom. I have several of the CD soundtracks from the show, including one permanently left in my car so that he can listen when he wants (which is often). But because he's grown to love the sound of orchestral music, he actually prefers the classical stations on my radio to the rock and pop stations.
