Normally I'm the last person in the world to complain about production values, but Soylent Green
is tough to watch. It's a great concept and great story, but it just looks bad. I've been watching old episodes of Night Gallery
on MeTV and I was reminded of why I always considered it low-tier when I was a kid-- the stories are great, but I can't stand all the hand-held camerawork, the horrible dubbing, the cringe-worthy day-for-night shots and so on.
